  Popular cafe by the South West coastal path near to Portreath. Inside and outdoor seating. Large stony car park with two entrances. Views of the surrounding countryside, but the sea is hidden behind the cliff tops just above the cafe. There is usually a wait for food as it's busy and all orders are freshly cooked. Drinks are served at time of order. The food was really tasty and well presented. There are vegetarian and healthy options available. The prices are a problem for me. We paid £19.00 for the vegetarian and scrambled eggs and sausage breakfasts and two filter coffees. Putting themselves at the high end of the market, it was disappointing our coffee cups had slight stains around the rim. Cost would put me off returning. Only last week we visited the Log Cabin Diner and had a very similar meal for £9.15. Still as I said Hells Mouth cafe is popular, so maybe I'm wrong.

  Thick cut ham and Cornish cheddar panini was great!
